Video Infoblog: DOLLAR CRASH & END OF EMPIRE: Iran War, Dollar's Loss of Reserve Status
the tyrants the people who run the Deep State and the uh and the Empire are very much in control of governments and uh security and Department of Justice uh the welfare state and our policy that puts troops in 120 countries and they just pretend that the consequences such that will never have to pay for it because we've had this offer to by other countries to use the dollar and it will work but a lot of countries now aren't so confident as they have been over the years welcome everyone I'm joined today by a fantastic guest I have the pleasure of Hosting Dr Ron Paul Dr Paul is a former Congressman United States presidential candidate and a well-known author and activist he founded the Ron Paul Institute for peace and prosperity an organization that for decades now has been at the Forefront of supporting a foreign policy that is rooted in peaceful relations and trade with all Dr Paul is the host of The Ron Paul Liberty report it is a wonderful show that I highly highly recommend to anyone I have to say that I watch it on a daily basis I'm a big fan and I will link it in the description below for those of our viewers who have not yet subscribed to Dr Paul Dr Paul PA welcome I'm so grateful to you for joining me today L you in one of your recent videos you explained that the hyper interventionist US foreign policy May ultimately lead to a rejection of the dollars World Reserve currency status and in my opinion we're certainly starting to see that dollarization Trend however at the same time this aggressive escalatory rethoric by both parties has been intensifying lately and we've seen a very clear narrative shift towards Iran for example state Secretary blinkin said that Iran is only two weeks away from developing nuclear weapons which is something that we've heard for decades then Lindy Graham introduced a bill to authorize US military use of force against Iran so um what is your view on these uh constant en escalations on fear and warmonger tactics and the call to effectively drag the United States into a direct confrontation with Iran which would undoubtedly lead to a World War II well you know uh what what they don't recognize or if they do recognize that they hide from it but you're alluding to the fact that uh the reserved currency of the world the dollar uh could well be threatened which I believe and also that uh the combination of spending and debt and the support of the dollar uh they're interconnected and this is the this is the reason people think though because they can get away with it and we've been doing it for a long time but it's catching up to it and it's last couple years there's been an explosion of deficits and and it's all man-made is it's a not not a Act of nature that this happened but this is a threat to our liberties and of course I believe believe that interventionism whether it's in the economy here or trade policy or the warmongering in our Empire uh is a threat to us financially but it's a threat to our liberties as well and that that is the big problem that people are facing but there a lot of people say you know we spend too much money we should cut back and I'm going to run for Congress and some of them get elected but they seem to forget their campaign slogans because uh the spending continues except for the very few uh there's no effort because there's still a high demand for the spending whether it's military spending by the military industrial complex or the pharmaceutical industry or the educational industry they uh is always good you know and this sort of thing Liberty is down on the list so they easily give up on the rhetoric that they spout off uh to get elected and so I see this this is a mess because I think the number of people on our side of this argument far outn the people who want tyranny but the tyrants the people who run the Deep State and the uh and the Empire are very much in control of governments and uh security and Department of Justice uh the welfare state and our policy that puts troops in 120 countries and they just pretend that the consequences such that we'll never have to pay for it because we've had had this offer to by other countries to use the dollar and it will work but a lot of countries now aren't so confident as years absolutely and uh one of the things that I really appreciated in one of your recent videos is that you pointed out uh when foreign interventions are presented to the American public they are presented as deterrence rather than aggression right and so typically because of that the majority of the population people remain silent because very few actually care to look beneath the surface to really understand what the government means by deterrence and uh it seems that there's always an enemy right if it's not Russia then it is China and if it is not China then now we know it's it's Iran so there's always that next enemy that uh is used to feed the um the War narrative how has the government been able to keep up with effectively Decades of misrepresenting facts to solicit support for Wars and why hasn't the American people the American public shown a stronger opposition to uh things like stationing troops in Syria why why isn't nobody is questioning why why do we still have troops in Syria we know why it's oil but and and and um control but uh nobody's questioning these things so I wonder how has the government been able to keep up with Decades of effectively um you know playing the same game and um waging Wars interventions and and so on well you You' think the people would wake up and not continue I indicated that a lot of people uh number-wise are very much with us but when they get organized and the number of special interests they get together they all of a sudden become uh you know the majority and uh of course what is really sacred especially uh on One Wing of the political system and they that is democracy we have to have democracy which means if you can get 51% you can do anything you want and you can pretend and the biggest thing is they can lie through their teeth and then control these important agencies of government and they uh they use rhetoric which which is based on lies I I think lying is very necessary to maintain the system we have uh and people people you know rolled over doctors rolled over the large majority with covid and so but it's always scare people and always do it in the name of safety do it in the name of patriotism and people yield to these things because it's sounding H yet they have to what our job has been is to try to erase the uh educational system where people in the United States have been indoctrinated and around the world a educational system on economics on foreign policy right now you know even the so-called limited government uh politicians running right now they're they're gun ho uh on on building trade barriers and the founders believed and I believed and free markets believe that the more you trade with people the better the things are but they look at this as you know they they make it so oh it's the Chinese it's their fault doing this and that and uh not not realizing that all this activity cost money cost there's regulations loss of Liberty and guess what the country gets small you know poorer and your question is really well put because that's what has to be understood why why do the people tolerate this and it's this misunderstanding the lies are told people believe in the lies they have to be scared they have to be frightened and uh this this to me makes it IR irresistible for people to go along with it and uh and and they they uh they I think they basically know that the spending eventually is going to be a problem but they really don't believe it but I think we're in a period where it's starting to shift just like during covid the the uh the opinions started to shift and people W up and say hey some of this stuff is crazy yet at the same time they're preparing for the next one but more and more people now are starting to realize we're still having uh conflict uh you know complications you know from taking all those Co covid vaccines so it's a it's propaganda and lying that people do it and I think they still can lie enough to the people that they vote to continue this process because uh they think it's in their own best interest because what you can't you can't cut food stamps you can't cut free medical care you can't cut uh people who want to spend money in keeping the terrorists from bombing us uh and there'll be another 911 if we don't do that so everybody falls in line they have to be scared to death and they have to be convinced that it is a responsibility of the government to be make all Americans safe well uh where' that come from uh that's not in the Constitution the Constitution is there to protect our liberties and people who are free have those responsibility take care of their own their own problems but they uh they they keep doing this and they think that the government's advertised we're going to make you safe from the terrorist safe from sickness everything else so it's a the explaining to the world the difference between nihilism and uh the higher law the higher law says people know better but the nihilists have have usurped this whole religious principle and they become Godlike and therefore they they go and uh lying lying is not a not a moral problem for the people who are in charge because they think they're lying that truth is UN you know you can't you you don't know truth you can't find truth so you're all canceled out they'll pretend at times to know truth but no the people that were fighting they don't have a conscience they have they have no uh no sense of guilt on what is going on and so it's to me a philosophic uh problem and I think that we should spend as much time or more in education than we do on uh you know political politicians and Congressional races I completely agree with you there and what I find find really interesting is that um sometimes we hear politicians effectively uh promote or boast these aggressive policies and interventions on foreign soil under the premise that they're doing good for example um since Iran is in the news right now and we're waiting to see what happens in the Middle East I wanted to bring up um the assassination of General Sol solmani Kasam solmani because that is I think a really good example of how it was actually misrepresented here in the west and specifically in the United States um not many people will know and I'm sure not many uh viewers will know that he um actually contributed to fighting against Isis and and he made a significant contribution to defeating Isis um something that we should appreciate um and yet everyone here in the United States cheerfully applauded that missile strike that was funded by by their tax dollars without truly understanding the context and understanding how um you know the nuances that uh there are that actually are important to to be aware of when determining whether it is good or bad whether it's deterrence how it benefits our national security and uh how it is morally justifiable to um to do those kind of things on on foreign soil um and of course the invasion of Iraq under the premise of them having wmds is also a good example of how that the public is is misled to to go along with the narrative and and support something that had they known the facts they would likely not support and and oppose you know I I think this uh proves the point that uh the opposition to the Constitution and freedom and the things that we like that the media is instrumental the educators are instrumental and I my guess would be that you'd have a very small percentage who even even would recognize the name of solom M and here it is an assassination overseas then we wonder why they're upset with us and then that scares people and then we do come under a threat they do 911 but they you know when I was in the presidential campaign you know uh I brought that subject up to a lot of people's surprised because that is what generates the hatred and the blowback so uh you know what about uh us going into Ukraine we had no justification what if we followed the Constitution and had to have a vote uh on whether we should get go in with NATO and do what we have done in Ukraine uh no we don't do it that way it's h it's become more sophisticated we don't have to do that and I was told once when in the Foreign Relations Committee when I said if you want to go into Afghanistan all these places you should vote uh to declare war and make sure the people know what we're doing and I said I'm not going to vote for this but you you you and the and the committee uh you want it so why why won't you do that they got hysterical they said that part of the Constitution we don't follow it anymore they admitted it so that's where we are and that's also the reason why I've been motivated you know to to have a homeschooling program to try to teach young people there's a difference between homeschooling and private schooling and Christian schooling than there is uh you know with government schools because government schools is propaganda absolutely and and and Dr Paul you alluded to uh there being a leeway to effectively circumvent the Constitution to wage these interventions and to effectively you know our military being present in in Syria and other places um could you help our viewers who are not familiar with the process maybe in simple terms understand how how it's been done to circumvent the Constitution and to justify these uh activities overseas well they lie and they make the big decisions very secret and then when they do talk they uh uh you know just distort and that tell you the opposite uh it's it's the it's and the money has to come but by that by the time they need the money to fight the illegal Wars uh the populace is pop you know been indoctrinated and we're under danger of attack you know what is happening and then there'll be uh somebody you know uh uh somebody killed someplace oh we have we have to justify this we have to go to war over it so it's based uh B based on uh this this is considered treasonous if you uh if you don't uh if you don't go along with it and and that's what's that's what happen so the the dollars are important the Appropriations come without difficulty but then you have to have not only the process of lying and scaring people then you have the system of government uh the uh lobbying system and the pack system special interest that's where government comes from and it's it's part of the concept of the deep State and uh you know you don't have somebody become ahead of the Federal Reserve board that doesn't know a whole lot about the Deep State and they just react as uh as they manipulate and try to keep things together but their job's getting getting tougher because it's uh we're at a point where this is all going to going to fail but the but the Deep state is very big the military industrial complex is Big pharmaceutical industrial complex that's huge the IND the uh educational system that's huge and medical it's all controlled by the government so they haven't made it saf or secure and it's hard to go out there and say to the people I want to be president but our job is not to make you safe but you don't do it that way you say the government said they were gonna make us safe and we're less safe we're poor we have less Freedom so just because we want less government do we reject all those things no we want it much better we want much better safety because people in the states can take care of our safety a lot better than our CIA murdering people around the world and just building up enemies and then the only thing we do is justify trillions of dollars being spent to build weapons that uh just scare more people and preparing for a possibility of a big war and you discussed previously the relationship uh and which is I think you just uh alluded to that the relationship between US foreign policy economic policy and the military industrial complex the military-industrial complex is is the clear beneficiary here of course including transnational corporations such as Black Rock who then get who can come in and get the contra conts to quote unquote rebuild a destroyed State later on which is precisely what we're seeing happening in Ukraine so to them it is just business as usual and and the only thing that changes is the location and maybe some of the key players but but the the game plan seems to be uh the same every time yeah I I think that's right because we go in and uh we are H very generous with our bombs and and pretending that we're bringing about peace in the world that we destroy cities after cities but they even while the bombs are still dropping they're making plans to rebuild it you know and lining up for the contracts and uh but the the one thing is is uh when I see this and want to get annoyed and depressed over it I say it doesn't matter we're not going to be able to change it before it happens but the money is going bad and the inflation is going to continue you and then that that that means that we won't be able to afford all Empires end that way they overextend themselves and they think it's going to be permanent but when the people wake up that's why education and programs like yours uh is exactly what we need get information out get people to understand what's going on that just because we're against uh you know the warmongering uh it's not because we're against what they say they're going to do we want we we're for the idea that they don't they don't even know what they're doing it's illegal it's immoral it's unconstitutional but if you want those things they're lying about you got to go and do it and the example I think I used it already is uh you know well would did the government protect us against covid well covid was a concoction out of thin air just to make their institutions quiet so if you say you can't do away with our Medical Care who how are we going to pay for it and uh and so they get hysterical over it and then they say we got to have we can't give up anything you you can't cut a nickel out of the budget uh we've had a few votes where we got cut a a penny from every bill that went out you couldn't pass it no they they scare them they spend the money but the reserve Curr that's why the reserve currency the loss of that is a big deal and then we lose Prestige around the world where people are sick and tired of our aggressiveness that is coming about and we're also seeing the point where our financial system is collapsing and the people are starting to get hungry and when also the Department of Justice just think of that it's sickening to see what happens when you see hoodlums and and bums and who all go going in fancy stores or any store ransacking and call pulling it out police nearby and not doing anything and then when they finally settles down they arrest the people who tried to stop them you know even if you're an employee and you want to stop all these hoodlums stealing from it the owners of the store then come back and arrest the their their employees that wanted to stop it there's a it's insane at times but uh people just don't have a good grasp of right and wrong I believe one of the things that I noticed is that mass media you you you earlier uh you said that mass media plays an important role and it certainly does what I noticed is that mass media loves to label those people who do not support Wars and Military interventions as isolationists how do you view the relationship between non-interventionist uh foreign policy well that that's been used a whole lot the thing of it is uh what have they given us they've given us isolationism and we're moving to the point where United States is going to be isolated from the world and then you have to point out the economic fallacy of tariffs and all these things that we do and and the blow back from all the military thing that we do so it's a it's a it's a it's it's an isolationism you know is uh is is used a word just to just the bad mouth but uh it's you have to find out where the natives are and the benefits because if you're wanting because excuse me if you want to compare non-interventionist foreign policy people travel they're richer they're uh and less war and more prosperous and less attack on our civil liberties you're a prominent advocate for the expansion of trade and peaceful relationships which is something that I'm very very interested in and something that I cover frequently here on my channel the Biden Administration introduced trade barriers on Chinese Goods recently and if elected Trump will likely lean towards more protectionist measures as well what is your view on the US China trade War and the recent sanctions well I I think what he's doing and that uh we're doing it the people who end up paying are American citizens they have to pay more for the goods and you so if you can't uh buy cars from China and you have to buy them if they're made here that the quality might not be as good and it would be more expensive and that doesn't help us so you have to point out the defic iy of what they would do maybe to close out the conversation uh Dr Paul I know that the majority of my subscribers support the causes that you have been so passionate about a foreign policy that is rooted in peaceful relations and in trade it makes perfect sense and I think all of us should stand behind that what can we do just an average person what can we do to amplify the voices of those who want to change this quiet biger and current foreign policy and really focus on trade on growth and as the result of Prosperity well we have to do a better job in getting the people to understand the difference that uh that the interventionist policies they use good language about how much benefits will come but that really it's the special interest behind here like the military industrial complex they have to that and then have to understand that uh the foreign policy is a as a negative but uh the non-interventionist you don't give up up things you know you don't give up anything that they claim they're going to give us they they they want peace and prosperity by spending this money and sending the troops around her and we'll all be saved well they're they're they're lying about it when they know better or it's misled because they have bad economic policies and you have to show that we're much better off if we follow the problems of non-intervention I couldn't agree with you more and I hope that this uh video will help educate more people and will help bring these questions to the Forefront and and uh hopefully will increase the number of those who are interested in promoting and supporting these causes um I truly hope that we helped our viewers get a new Fresh perspective today on the current foreign policy and the dangers that warmongering brings both economically and in terms of our security and I certainly hope that more and more people are brave enough to speak up and to advocate for peaceful solutions for capable diplomacy and for economic Prosperity Dr Paul thank you so much for this conversation thank you for taking the time to join me your thoughts and your perspectives are very much appreciated and uh I look forward to having an opportunity to connect with you again wonderful and it's been great to be on your program and keep up the good work I appreciate that thank you
